What we do
We create innovative digital, data and technology products that enable the delivery of personalised, connected healthcare and wellbeing products and services for Australians. We work alongside the brightest health, clinical and business thinkers in Medibank and the Australian health system to put the customer at the centre, explore the art of the possible and create brilliant digital products, services and experiences that Australians live their health. Our teams work closely across all three of our brands – Medibank, ahm and Amplar Health – to deliver industry leading digital and technology solutions. Examples include the industry leading MyMedibank and ahm web and app experiences, our market leading LiveBetter platform that rewards Australians for taking healthy actions, and innovative digital and virtual health solutions to deliver health navigation, prevention and condition management services to Australians in their home and the wider community.
Our teams work with a wide variety of mature and emerging technologies to bring these solutions to life.

We work with a wide variety of mature and emerging technologies including react, JavaScript, GitHub, sanity, NodeJS, iOS, android, ga, typescript, AWS, and more. We also work with various industry platforms such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics and Cloud for Healthcare and many others.
While also exploring new ways of re-thinking our engineering principles with our journey towards a mono-repo software approach with the fundamentals of feature toggles, trunk-based development and automation at the core. This provides lots of opportunities for professional development, learning and career opportunities across our business.
We also like having fun along the way, celebrating our achievements together and looking out for one another through the inevitable challenges that comes with the territory of innovation and change. We are a curious bunch that love to question how we work and whether we could do things differently to make things easier for our people and deliver value faster for our customers.

Architects
Architects work with business, delivery and engineering leaders and teams to develop the technology architecture, decisions and runway to support the execution of our strategy. These roles encompass various specialties including enterprise, solution and platform architecture.
Full-stack Engineers
We’re always on the lookout for equally passionate Full stack Engineers to join our tight-knit team of talented people working towards our big vision to make health insurance simple.
Chapter Lead
A people leader position for a specific chapter, for instance Web, Mobile or API that provides the autonomy to continually grow and evolve our engineering practices.
Principal Engineer
This role helps us to discover and evangelise new technologies, tools and practices to enable us to get our ideas into production faster and safer.
Lead Engineer
This hands-on development role is responsible for leading, establishing, implementing, and maintaining best practice across an agile delivery squad.
Software Engineer
This role encapsulates a variety of specialties and streams. It involves building software within an agile environment to design, develop, test, deploy, observe, maintain and improve our software.
